Quick and healthy burritos

I wanted to share another quick meal idea with you all. I actually make these burritos quite often and just vary the ingredients.

I know some people really hate eating leftovers and it’s a waste to throw them away so make a new meal out of them! Left over potatoes, meat (chicken, steak, pork, lamb, even sandwich meat), rice, beans, and extra veggies can go great in a burrito. You can make it really lean by being mindful of the amount of oil you use to cook them, the fat content of the meat (you always want the 95 or 98% lean meat), and the type of tortilla you use (try a spinach wrap instead of wheat or flour). Then just heat up your left overs, throw a little tomato or favorite sauce over the meat as its heating up and roll them up with your favorite toppings. You have a healthy and easy meal that can be made in 5 minutes.

    I like burrito too and I really like the fact that you use leftovers. This is something more people should do as there are a lot of cool recipes we can make with left meat or veggies. Best, MFS
