Is a more expensive mascara worth it? Before you buy a more expensive beauty product, it’s nice to know if you’re getting your moneys worth. If you can believe it, I’ve never worn fake eyelashes, so I put a lot of worth into a great mascara. Today I’ll be going through some of my favorite mascara’s and explaining why I think think they’re worth it!
BareMinerals- Lashtopia Volumizing Mascara
This mascara gives a great, natural, flirty looking lash with great length and medium volume. I would recommend this if you need a mascara for an everyday, natural look, that still makes your lashes pop. This mascara is especially great for people with sensitive eyes or skin because BareMinerals uses natural, organic ingredients in all of their makeup.
BUXOM-Lash Mascara
This is the mascara you want for a more dramatic eye look. It gives your lashes great length and volume, and the dark black color makes the eyes really pop. I love using this for when I’m wearing black and still want my eyelashes to make a statement.
Too Faced- Better Than Sex Mascara
This mascara has been my go-to for many years, it’s a great mascara I always trust. If you struggle with volume in your lashes this is a great mascara to try. It gives medium length, but makes your lashes very full without clumping.
Benefit- Roller Lash Mascara
If you never want to curl your eyelashes again, this mascara definitely does what it says. This mascara gives the lashes medium volume, but tons of curl and length. The curl in your lashes will stay all day and your lashes will almost double in length.
Marc Jacobs- Velvet Lash Primer x Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara
A newer product I’ve recently tried is the Marc Jacobs primer and mascara duo. I haven’t found much success with lash primers in the past, but this duo is no joke! With just a couple strokes of the primer you will see your lashes double in length, it also gives great volume without looking clumpy. The black mascara easily goes over the primer, with no white primer showing through. Great for an elevated, long lash look.
