No matter what kind of day or week I’m having, having great looking hair is what makes me feel most put together. However, having a great hairstyle is not always simple- time and weather can put a strain on achieving the best looking hair. We often need a little help from hair products, but we all know that comes at a cost. Target has a great range of products for any hairstyle and hair type that won’t break the bank. I’ve compiled the best of the best you can find at your local Target for great hair on the daily.
For hold and texture Target has several options. The best option for naturally wavy and curly hair is the Tresemmè Compressed Micro Mist Curl Hold Hair Spray, this product gives you the hold without the stiffness. If you’re doing a more styled look and need the hold I suggest the
Garnier Fructis Style Flexible Control Hairspray. This product also doesn’t leave the hair stiff, while holding any hairstyle in place and reducing frizz. If you want to add more body to your hair, you’ll need a texture spray. A great option is the SGX NYC The Do-It-All 3-in-1 Dry Texture Spray. This product is one of my favorites because it’s not only a texture spray, but it doubles as a dry shampoo- making it great for refreshing day-old hair. If you want to secure a straight hairstyle I would recommend the L’Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Sleek It Iron Straight Heatspray. It is most important when straightening your hair to protect it from the damage of the heat. This product is great because it helps keep the hair sleek and straight while also protecting the hair from being damaged.
For cleaner hair there are also great affordable options. In the shower you want to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week to ensure there is no residue and build-up in the hair. Neutrogena has a great anti-residue shampoo for only five dollars that works with all hair types. If you don’t have time for a shower, Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo is my favorite option. Their hair products are always reliable and smell great.
For dry or damaged hair there are affordable ways to add moisture and revitalize your hair. Having a reliable, moisturizing conditioner is the first step towards healthier hair. The Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner is a great choice for all hair types to replenish moisture and restore hair to being smooth and silky. For five dollars this is a great go-to option. If you need a little more than a daily conditioner to restore moisture to your hair, I would highly recommend the Garnier Fructis 1 Minute Nourishing Hair Mask. It’s easy to use, at a great price point, and really does leave your hair moisturized and smooth.
To fight frizz, my favorite products available at Target are from Kristin Ess. If it’s a wash-and-go kind of day one of my very favorite hair products is the
Kristin Ess Weightless Shine Air Dry Crème. If you’re prone to frizz when letting your hair air dry, this is a must have. It reduces frizz and defines the hair’s natural texture. If you have a more styled look or up-do the Kristin Ess Anytime Anywhere Recovery Balm is a savior. This product allows you to control flyaways and reduce frizz without messing up the rest of the hairstyle.
