So we all know regular workouts and a good diet gets you most body results you might want. But now with technology being so advanced, there are so many ways to cheat. I got a BodyFX treatment to see what the hoopla was all about and I gotta say, I did see results.
The newest trend is body sculpting. Using laser technology to target fat deposits in different areas of the body. They use this BodyFX machine to reshape your body and provide a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. BodyFX uses a combination of different clinically proven modalities including radio-frequency energy, deep tissue heating, and suction coupled with negative pressure. The radio-frequency energy distributes heat to the skin and underlying fat, causing the tissues to heat and contract. The vacuum and controlled energy pulses then work together to provide beautiful body contouring results.
The before and after pictures are crazy so I wanted to try this and report back to you all. I don’t have much of a need for this but if I have one area I could work a little more on is my lower stomach. So I decided to try it on that. The whole procedure took less than half an hour and it wasn’t painful at all. It just heats your skin so if your sensitive to that it might be a little uncomfortable and they will adjust the settings for you. They were able to go up to the max setting with me and it was totally fine. They put this iron type thing on you and hold it on the area for a min or so then right at the end there is a suction effect and that’s it. For this to be effective you have to do multiple sessions and the effects last for about six months. Many celebrities now use this but as you can imagine it’s pricey. It can be a few hundred dollars per session and usually you need a few sessions. It does work though, if you are impatient and want results and don’t want to do it the traditional way. Also, this works great on cellulite. That’s what most people use it for. We all know that cellulite is something you can’t always get rid of just by working out (guys need to understand this), especially if it’s genetic. So this could be an option for you if it’s in your price range. It’s definitely not invasive and has no down time except that it might make the treatment area red the day of your treatment.
I took a video while they were doing the treatment on me so you all can see what it’s about.
I received so many comments about this when I posted about it on my Instagram because people thought I got paid for the ad. I did not. I was merely curious and asked them if they could do the treatment on me so I could write about it on my blog. I wanted to write from experience about the process and if it’s painful or not because frankly it seems too good to be true. But I gotta say I am seeing a difference just a day after. My skin is a little firmer and I do look a little more lean but only time will really tell. There are so many factors that affect the way a woman’s stomach looks from day to day.
If you want more information on this you can google it or check out inmodemd.com. It’s been featured on Rachel Ray as well and that’s when I got interested because she’s a foodie like me and frankly I love her. So read up and make a decision if it’s right for you. If you have the option, time and ability to work out and eat healthy that will give you long term effects but if you don’t and you don’t want to go under the knife then this might be for you.
If your interested in trying this out and you’re in the LA area, you can call Crystal (310) 652-4100) at Premier Surgery Center. She was so lovely and informative when I wanted to learn more about this.
Now enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙂
