There are some things that you just have to splurge on to get an effective product. Moisturizer, shampoo, even cleansers I’d say are a few of those products that you really are better off paying more for and it is worth it to bite the bullet. But when it comes to getting a good toner, some of the best ones on the market are under $20. Now, that is not to say that there aren’t more expensive ones out there that do a great job, but these ones are fool-proof and will leave your skin glowing without breaking the bank to do so.
The purpose of a toner is to really clean your pores and give you an overall great complexion. Even after cleansing, there can be missed dirt that is hiding away in the seemingly invisible spaces in your skin causing flakiness, breakouts, and discoloration. Toning after cleansing, before makeup, and before bed is a ritual that should be in your daily skincare routine. Toning prevents future breakouts, reduces the look of large pores, and gives you that coveted glow you will love.
These products have the ability to clean your pores, hydrate your skin, restore your complexion, and restore the life to your skin. These toners are easy to take on the go if you are traveling somewhere overnight and don’t want to bring your entire skincare arsenal, just grab one of these awesome toner’s and you’ll be set.
A good toner will use natural ingredients that balance the pH such as Apple Cider Vinegar, something for brightening such as Rose or Rooibos, something to hydrate such as Cucumber and/or Aloe, and something to clean such as Micellar Water or Tea Tree. All of these toners are effective and you will notice results right away. Once you try, there is no going back. For $20 or less, it’s worth it. Your skin will thank you.
How to properly use your toner:
Step 1: Use a makeup wipe to get off most of the surface makeup.
Step 2: Use the Toner of your choice using a cotton pad. Repeat until the cotton pad no longer shows any sign of dirt. Do this from your forehead all the way down to your decollete.
Step 3: Rinse with a cleanser or exfoliate.
Step 4: Finish with a night cream or hydrating moisturizer.
