Confidence

Hi Andreea, it’s weird for me to ask you this since I’m a guy, but how does one wake up on a daily basis feeling confident? I just feel as if I don’t have that “look” girls prefer as eye candy to feel confident about myself.

Confidence is something that comes from within. You should wake up every morning and in your mind, go over your three best qualities. That should give you confidence in itself. Everyone is special and unique and you should be proud of who you are. There is a certain combination of qualities you have that no one else does. I know that sounds corny but it’s true. You are probably sitting there and comparing yourself to friends and family members, maybe even your favorite celebrity. Remember everyone will show the best version of themselves to the world. Just because they look confident or put together or look like they are the happiest people in the world doesn’t mean they are. I’ve known people who have everything in the world but happiness and it’s heartbreaking.

You need to find confidence in who you are and not try and become someone else. Maybe you are going for the wrong girls. There will be girls out there that will like “your look” but you’re probably not focusing on them. It’s a shame looks are what first creates attraction between two people but looks fade. We will all be wrinkly and old one day and honestly I’m looking forward to that.

So for the next couple weeks, make a conscious effort to focus on your best qualities and maybe change the type of girls you’re going after. Also, I would suggest meeting people  through the type of activities you like to do. They you already have that common thread and looks are just secondary.

But hey, what do I know, right?
