One of My Favorite Artists: Harding Meyer

I would like to take a moment and talk about one of my favorite artists, Harding Meyer. I am just blown away by his artistry. The way he portrays the human face is simply divine. His paintings all have such an ethereal feel to them and at the same time, carry such depth and power behind them. The eyes of all his subjects are so intrusive of your soul and yet you feel like you want them to stare you down until they know all of your secrets and you can only hope to know one of theirs.

I often lose myself staring at his paintings as my mind creates a whole story behind each of the faces and what warped their features in such manner.
