From the moment I found out I was having a little girl I knew exactly what the nursery was gonna look like. A serene, girly space in soft pink, mauve, and purple color palette with off-white furniture that could grow with her. I’m so excited to finally share our little girl’s nursery reveal! A little later than I would have liked, but hey better late than never.
Nursery Furniture for Little Girl
We actually picked out the furniture first. I love how classic the Evolur Belle collection is, so we got everything but the nightstand. For our little girl’s nursery, I really wanted a crib that could be versatile as she grows up and this one is great. It can transition from a crib to a toddler bed to a twin and I absolutely love that! We also chose the aged white for a neutral but elegant complement to the girly color palette.
I really love the Phoenix Upholstered Wing Back Power Recliner from Evolur because it glides, rocks, reclines, and has a USB charger. It could definitely be repurposed into a different space once I no longer need it in the nursery.
Little Girl Nursery Theme
For the theme of the room, I wanted to keep an element of nature as the central theme and flowers seemed like just the thing. Enter a late-night browse session on etsy.com where I came across the perfect wallpaper and the nursery theme was set. I wanted it to feel like you were in a field of flowers on a spring day. So when I saw this wallpaper I knew it was it. The entire room stemmed from that single find.
Nursery Color
For our little girl’s nursery room color, we picked Furtive Mauve by Valspar. We liked that it was girly and sweet, but still elegant. It actually compliments the wallpaper really well, even though we purchased it separately. We are so happy it worked out because you never really know the true colors of something you bought online, am I right?
Nursery Lighting
This room initially had no ceiling lights so we had an electrician come install a light fixture from Anthropologie that worked perfectly with the field of flowers theme of the room. I love how feminine and whimsical it is 🥺.
Our little girl’s nursery has definitely become a place I spend the majority of my time, and Alina seems very content hanging out in there too. Although she’s still sleeping in our room for now, she does get a nap or two in her crib. I loved seeing this room come together over the last few months and I hope as she gets older she loves her room as much as I do.
