It’s hard not to feel like you’re floating in a dream when in Venice, Italy. With canals weaving through the ancient buildings, authentic Italian cuisine, and a romantic atmosphere, Venice is surely an unforgettable place to visit. The Aman Venice is a hotel that reflects the magic and distinct elaborate character of the city itself. The Aman Venice is set in a 16th century Palazzo in the Grand Canal.
Incredible Experience
The Aman is a hotel full of rich history. Every corner of the hotel is enriched by some authentic piece of Italy’ culture. The chandelier on the walls glittered above, drawing your eyes upward to view the authentic artwork that captivated your attention. The large windows bring in natural light to brighten the space and tempt you to look outside to the garden or Grand Canal views. The elaborate details on the walls kept your eyes dancing about the building and glittering in awe. The staff was friendly, spoke many languages and was highly accommodating to our every request. The hotel even had a gym that was convenient and tasteful, adding to the features without taking away from the allure of the ancient building. The Aman even has its own dock that brings gondolas and boats straight to the front door for a quick taxi ride into the city- unreal!
The hotel features unique art pieces, its own garden, and views of the Grand Canal. High, grandiose ceilings and sumptuous decor remind you that you’re in one of the most elegant and historically rich buildings in all of Venice.
Sunny Mornings & Delicious Breakfast at the Aman
Breakfasts at Aman started the morning so good, it was sure to be an unforgettable day. The coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and avocado toast was so delicious and satisfying.
Best Pasta of my life- Dinner at the Aman!
In the evening, we were treated with an unforgettable 5-star dinner from one of Italy’s most well-renowned chefs, and enjoyed freshly prepared authentic Italian cuisine; without a doubt the best pasta of my life.
The Tortellini with Truffle was incredible.
The dining rooms in the Aman were incredible, with authentic balsamic, bread, and wine the dinner started with delicious classic appetizers with a richly decorated and romantic atmosphere.
And just when you think it can’t get any better, dessert comes! I swear the sweets in Italy are always sweeter and more satisfying to your sweet tooth.
The top left is a crab salad with apples, and the front center is a caramelized baked onion with ice cream.
Our Venetian Suite
The view from our room didn’t disappoint, with beautiful buildings just across the way and not out of sight. You’ll be greeted by a grand door with an old-fashioned key, and enter into a dream. The spacious suites mix a classic style with a contemporary charm. Our suite even had an authentic alfresco painting by Boticelli on the ceiling. The modern, pristine bathrooms come complete with a large soaking bathtub, shower, sink and vanity space. We used the soaking tub and the decadent bath products that had the most amazing smell. It’s more than just a bathroom-it’s your own personal spa! Stay tuned for a video tour of the suite on my vlog!
