Skin Care Routine

I wanted to take the time to write out my skin care routine since so many of you ladies have been asking.

First, I’d like to take a moment and talk about the importance of washing your face. I know sometimes you might get home from work or whatever outing you were on and be too tired to wash your face before bed, but you’re really doing yourself a disservice long term. As your sleeping all that dirty and makeup sit on top on your face, creeping into your pores and days later you’ll have yourself a pimple. If you wash your face, you can apply some night cream or your favorite serum and have it work it’s magic as your getting your beauty sleep.

If I have makeup on, I will use a moistened towel to get the make up off then follow up with a good face wash. Once I wash my face, I usually try and use a face scrub every other day. I know that might seem excessive but I have found for my skin it works best if I’m a little rough on it every other day to really get the dirt out. Then I apply either night cream or a good skin serum. You can do both by applying the serum first then the face cream. I was using eye cream for a bit but I got lazy and stopped. But I do need to get back on that because I do think its very important, especially as you get older. Us ladies have to worry about the wrinkles as we age while men look sexier the more wrinkles they have….so not fair!
