• I see some new faces so in case we haven’t met yet here’s a little about me 〰️ Hi I’m Andreea and I live for skincare & beauty but love to cook and endlessly browse through home design magazines and Pinterest. I am married to @bgaul7 and we have 3 fur babies @smushball @peenyhoudini @mypetpawsy we hope to have kids in the near future but until then, these 3 keep us pretty busy. I was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1988 and try to go back often as my entire family is still there except my parents which live in Vegas, where I grew up. I started blogging accidentally which turned into the most amazing career I never thought I could have. Before that I’ve worked in fashion, food & beverage, hospitality, sales, tech, finance and I even did a stint in culinary school but what I love about social media is that I’ve created a platform to be able to make a difference which is very important to me. At the end of last year our family relocated to Chicago and life has been one big adjustment. The weather, the city, the people, the lifestyle... all very different from LA but it’s slowly becoming my new normal. I’m a member of the Junior League of Chicago which does amazing philanthropic work with children and women especially victims of human trafficking. I am also a member of 1% for the planet, an organization dedicated to environmentalism and sustainability so I donate 1% of my yearly income in hopes of it finding a purposeful home in the fight to get our planner in better shape for future generations.   • One thing I didn’t expect to deal with in my 30s is hair thinning. I’ve started noticing it the last couple years and looking back at pictures of my hair before I def see and feel a difference. I’ll be looking into the best hair supplements for this but if you have any recommendations let me know 👇🏼 📸 @daniellesimoneco

  • THE SUNDAY RECIPE: combines hibiscus kombucha and different raspberry flavors to create a tasty martini 🍸 head to www.simplyandreea.com for the full recipe
  • Last night’s glam as promised: tried some new goodies and was very impressed! The only face coverage is @code8beauty beauty balm (a new fav for light coverage.) super moisturizing and smells wonderful plus an added spf 15. Then @toofaced new Born This Way highlighting palette in light is bomb and I used the soft focus on the cheeks and nose then glow on the brow bone and dazzle in the inner corners of the eyes. Also used the @toofaced Born This Way The Natural Nudes Eye Shadow Palette (this could literally be a staple because it’s very versatile) then @lauramercier on the cheeks and lips. Used a mix of their Fresco and Pomegranate blushes to create more of a natural warmth with a slight pop and on the lips their Silky Crème Lipstick in Vivid Rose then their fuchsia pink lip pencil to create a base before the lipstick. The brows are natural. A little @covergirl brow gel maybe and a little fill in a bald spot I have with the new @rimmellondonus brow pro micro pen in a dark brown (really good, you have to try it). The hair was not brushed and then we both went out for some pizza in the 7 degree weather and came back to drink red wine and watch Netflix in our sweatpants. It was perfect.
