Since it’s inception in the 17th century, Christmas lights have grown tremendously into a popular tradition of elaborate decoration to cherish every December. With many Christmas light festivals starting the day after Thanksgiving, it is officially Christmas lights season, and here are some of the best rated Christmas light festivals in the World.

2. Village de Noël, Nice, France

The Promenade Des Anglais and the Village de Noël at Place Masséna has lights, entertainment, food, and shopping in the Christmas spirit with a stunning Christmas Lights display.

4. Shiodome Caretta Illumination, Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo is home to one of the most enchanting Christmas lights displays, with vibrant blue lights illuminating for the “Canyon D’Azur” light show at the Shiodome. The display features 250,000 LED lights for the 20-minute show that runs from December to February.

5. Rockefeller Center, Manhattan
