Post Thanksgiving Detox Drinks

It’s the same ol’ story every year. Thanksgiving comes around, and we indulge ourselves in the most delicious pies, savory turkey, irresistible mashed potatoes and candied yams that probably should be on the pie table instead of the dinner table, but hey, when the dinner table is set and our loved ones surround us, we’re not complaining… yet. Friday morning’s bloat and regret tend to be as much of a tradition as the immaculate meal itself. Here’s a thought: instead of indulging again, or feeling the pain of regret, try this simple detox drink (or tomorrow if today’s leftovers are still too irresistible). It’s delicious, simple and will cleanse your belly back to healthy and happy!


  1. Apple Cider
  • 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider vinegar
  • 8 oz water, warmed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

2. Green Tea with Lemon

  • one bag of green tea
  • 1/2 squeezed lemon
  • 8oz water, warmed

3. Infused Water

  • 1/4 Sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 squeezed Lime
  • 1/2 squeezed Lemon
  • 16 oz Water
  • a few whole mint leaves

4. Ginger tea

  • 1/s tsp ginger, powdered
  • lemon wedge squeezed
  • honey, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 12 oz water
