The cupcakes only take 17 minutes to bake and I used a single mini cupcake pan ad did two batches but you can also make this as a bunt cake or even in a break pan!

Follow this recipe

1 1/3 flour

1/2 tsp bakin powder

1/8 tsp salt

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup chopped walnuts (toasted)

1 tsp organic maple syrup

Maple-Cream Cheese frosting:

4 oz (half a packet of cream cheese, softened)

1/4 cup butter (softened)

1 3/4 cups powdered sugar

1/2tsp organic maple syrup

Heat over to 350 degrees F.

In a medium bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Beat in flour mixture alternatively with milk. Stir in 3/4 cup walnuts and 1 tsp organic maple syrup. Divide batter evenly into mini cupcake cups. Bake 17 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on baking racks.

In a medium bowl beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup butter until blended. Gradually add sugar and 1/2 tsp maple syrup and beat until smooth. Frost cupcakes and garnish with raw sugar or walnuts.

And Enjoy!
