Dress warm, be fashionable: My Bloomingdale’s guide to winter style

Now that we are approaching the end of fall and bracing for the cold but beautiful holiday and winter season, I thought a post on winter fashion was appropriate.

Dressing for colder weather and all the holiday parties while staying true to your fashion diva within can often pose a challenge. Do you wear those amazing leather boots that you’ve been dying to strut in or go for a comfy fur lined boot to stay warm? I seem to run into this dilemma more often than not. Especially with the social media age in full force, you need to ALWAYS be ready for that photo opp!

So my solution is to layer your favorite pieces and find unique, statement coats that are warm and fabulous. I partnered up with Bloomingdale’s  to bring you all my favorite winter wear picks to get you started this holiday season. After looking through the site, I came across Maximilian Furs.

Moving on to clothing to layer. I always try to opt for cashmere because it’s very versatile no matter the weather. So yes you might be spending an extra $19 on a sweater but you can wear it rain or shine so it’s more of an investment piece. That why I suggest to get them in solid colors to avoid the “trendy pattern” not being in style season after season.

When it comes to winter shoes, these shoes stood out for style and warmth:

BTW, if you want to wear your cute rain boots but don’t want your toes to freeze, these Hunter Shearling Boot Insoles from Bloomingdales are a must for any winter closet!

Happy holiday shopping everyone!
